Mark your calendars for the Norfolk BOC National Zaf which will take place on June 7-10, 2012. This Zaf will coincide with OpSail 2012 and will be quite an event. Also, the US Navy plans on participating to an even greater extent than they have in past OpSails.

The tentative schedule for the Zaf is:

Thursday, June 7th 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - American Rover Tallship Cruise of Norfolk harbor with Cash Bar (http://www.americanrover.com/)
Friday, June 8th 9:00 am - 1:00 pm - Parade of Sail on Brothers' Boats
Friday, June 8th 5:00 pm -7:30 pm - Private Buffet Dinner at Mo & O'Malley's Irish Bar (this bar is Certified Brotherhood Seedy)
Saturday, June 9th 8:30 am - 1:00 pm - Table Captains Meeting at Marriott (someone has to work while we get to play)
Saturday, June 9th 5:00 pm-8:30 pm - Banquet Dinner at Marriott with Cash Bar
Sunday, June 10th 8:30 am - 11:30 am - Extended Informal Brunch in Hospitality Suite as Brothers and Captives leave for airport

There will be a “recovery” hospitality suite Thursday through noon Sunday with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, soft drinks, and snacks in the Marriott.

We have forty (40) rooms on reserve for the Brotherhood on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Norfolk Downtown Marriott for $199 + tax per night. The link will automatically give you the BOC room rate but you may have to mention the Brotherhood of the Coast to get the $199 rate by phone. There will also be some rooms and/or berths available in Brothers’ homes and boats for those interested.

We are still confirming prices but the fee for this Zaf should be approximately $200 per person.
